The workspace

Sidebar

On the left are the organization's sections: Home, Products, Ingredients, Labels, Catalogs, Food databases, Settings and Help. Consultancies also have Clients. The button at the top left collapses it to icons; your choice is remembered.

At the top of the sidebar is the organization switcher: if you belong to several organizations (for example a consultancy and its clients) you move between them here, or with Ctrl + O (⌘ + O on Mac). You also create a new organization from here.

Search

The Search… field at the top, or Ctrl + K (⌘ + K on Mac), opens search: products, ingredients and app sections, plus the quick actions New product and New ingredient.

Notifications

The bell collects notices that concern you:

• a colleague asks you to approve a product;
• changes were requested on a product you submitted for review;
• a label was approved;
• a bulk export or the full data export is ready to download.

Support

The Support button at the top opens a request from any page: choose the type (error, blocked action, unexpected result, not sure how to proceed, suggestion), the priority and describe the problem; you can attach a screenshot or a PDF up to 20 MB. The page is attached automatically. You get a receipt by email. Help shows your organization's requests and links to this guide: open a request to read the conversation and write to support. When support replies you get a notification in the bell and an email; a closed request accepts no more messages: for a new problem, open another one.

Your account

The user menu at the bottom left contains:

• Language of the interface: Italian, English, French, German or Spanish. It does not change label languages, which are set per product;
• Theme: light, dark or system;
• Account security: two-step verification (see Users, roles and security);
• Sign out.

Autosave

Products and ingredients save themselves while you type, as the Autosave note at the top shows. The editor has no Save button; settings pages save with their own button.
